*She walks him out into the aisle and places him on a set of cross-ties*

* Dio's jaw drops as he see's the magnificent horse being led by his beautiful girlfriend*

wow he looks awesome ^^ uh you sure he would be good for a learner to ride? he looks abit...fierce

*Dio looks at raine nervoulsy as he lets out a short nervous laugh*

*Raine stroke's Kio's neck and smiles*

He's named "hero" for more than one reason ^^

*Kio reaches out him muzzles and pushes his head into Dio's chest as a greeting, nickering quietly*

See luv, he may have an unbridles spirit within, but he's as gentle as can be with us.

*He hugs her Dio from behind as Akio curiously lips Dio's robe*

*Dio luaghs as the horse probes his robe*
dont go too low their boy you dont wanna incur raines wrath for going too far now ^^

*Dio reaches out and strokes the horses nose bridge*

he seems kinda cool ^^ i like him

I'm glad you like him, he seems rather fond of you as well.

*Raine chuckles at Dio's comment and lays her hand on the side of Akio's neck*

*She pulls a cookie from her pocket and places it in Dio's hand*

*Akio snifs and nuzzles the treat before finally taking it in his mouth and promptly eating it. He whinnies as Raine gives her love a reassuring squeeze*

Well I had already groomed him earlier so there's no need for brushes...

*She walks towards the tack room*

I figured we wouldn't use a saddle as this is your first ride. Would you like to lead him?

*She hands him the reins*

no saddle? how am i supposed to ride him then? oh well ill trust you on this one after all this is your area of expertise ^^

*Dio takes the reins and leads the horse out of the barn*

uh you gettin a horse to? or am i riding coupled or you just leading im kinda confused...

This is your first lesson and I would like to teach you properly...

*She kisses Dio's cheek*

Saddles are typically used, but I want you to feel Akio's motion. The best riding is based off of understanding your horses movement. And you can't do that very well with 15 pounds of leather between you and Kio ^~

*She stops them next to the fence line and hops on Akio's back and offers her hand*

I figured it would be best to ride with you the first time. You, know... help with balance, seat, position and such

*She grinned as she patted Kio's lower back*

*ignore his loves hand and grinning a wide grin Dio mounts the horse without his loves help nearly falling off again in the process*

^^ haha well run me through the basics then my sweet how should grip the horse? how much pressure to put on his sides with legs so i dont fall off and such....

*Raine smiles as she wraps Dio's arms around her waist for balance*

Well first things first, your lower leg is what's going to be holding you on. So let your upper legs hang loose, like a a wet towel over Akio's back.

*She adjusts herself in example*

Then using your lower calf, wrap your lower leg around his barrel. And there you have your basic position ^^

*Dio adjusts his legs as raine said to grinned as he kiss the back of her neck*
